I’m Carma Levene, and I first started using Social Media as a Marketing tool during my career in the Hospitality industry. I quickly realised the impact it could have on the business and I became obsessed!
Since then I have helped countless businesses with their Social Media Marketing, including at a handful of agencies (from boutique to global) and more than 9 years as a consultant.
I’ve had a hand in literally 1000’s of Facebook pages; not to mention loads of Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and platforms that have come and gone (RIP Google+) plus any channel you can make a business profile on I have probably at least tested.
But that doesn’t make me old school – I can run TikTok campaigns with the best of them, and I know how to brief the content that’ll get you RESULTS.
I have been a contributor to Social Media Examiner as a subject matter expert on Meta Advertising. The first article I published to their website is over 4,000 words!
I’ve also been published by Socialbakers with a piece about organic Social Media tips and this article has been shared around 8.5k times.
From strategy and production, to community management and paid campaigns – I’ve covered the breadth of the Social Media landscape and worked with a vast range of industries.
I’m a creative individual who enjoys thinking through challenges. I am intuitive and flexible and work hard to achieve outcomes that actually help your business grow.

On a more personal note – here’s what I’m into; Marketing (obviously), my dogs – I’m a rescue advocate, gin (snob), and have a keen interest in politics and social justice. I also LOVE discussing leadership, and am fascinated by the current discrepancies between leadership Vs management.
I’m also completely obsessed with human behaviour and marketing psychology.
I’m on the WA Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) committee as the Deputy Chair. I’m on the Oasis Ball committee, a charity awards night for the media, advertising and marketing industry where funds go to The Salvos. I Co Founded The Marketer and run an even series for local marketers in Perth that’s been going for 5 years.
I mentor early career marketers and guest lecture regularly at ECU for the School of Business and Law.
